Well, it’s obvious they need help. They’ve been living in poverty most likely all their lives and haven’t seen living without it. So, to them it seems normal. If they were to be helped, and given a better living environment they’d probably take better care of it then. Therefore, in order for them to want to think of helping the environment, they may need help with theirs first.
