Masyarakat disini sangat antusias mempersiapkan hari kemerdekaan republik Indonesia, mulai dari anak-anak, sampai orang dewasa, mulai dari berlatih sampai menghias.
Hal ini terlihat dari berbagai sekolah baik itu di tingkat sekolah dasar, sekolah menengah pertama, sampai sekolah menengah atas.
Mereka berlatih apapun yang dilombakan dalam festival perayaan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Hal ini juga terlihat dari salah satu sekolah dasar yang berlatih alat musik berupa Transband, di seputaran jalan penghubung kabupaten/kota.
