I was home! Because of the meetup I returned to my homeland, the place where I grew up. It was blessed moment I could visit my family in Gayo while attending the regional steemit meetup. I returned a day before the meetup, so I could have quality time with my mom's family. In this regency, I still smelt the aroma of my childhood, the mountains still look like it was and I did feel so passionate to sense much more about the past in this land. Right! Steemit wanted me to go home along with the reunion with my Gayoness friends.
Saya pulang kampung! Karena meetup ini saya kembali ke tanah kelahiran, tempat dimana saya dibesarkan. Saat yang berkah bisa mengunjungi keluarga saya sembari menghadiri meetup. Saya pulang sehari sebelum meetup, jadi saya bisa memiliki waktu bersama keluarga ibu saya. Di wilayah ini, saya masih mencium aroma masa kecilku, gunung-gunung masih terlihat seperti dulu dan saya sangat bersemangat untuk merasakan lebih banyak lagi kenangan silam di tanah ini. Benar! Steemit menginginkan kepulangan saya untuk berkumpul kembali dengan kawan-kawan Gayo.
Meetup was held on Saturday, March 10, 2018. The steemit committe intentionally picked that day as the steemians who came from other regions might have sufficient time to visit the tourism objects in this highland teritory. As we may all know, the Gayo has abundant natural resource and the charming tourism object that make you forget about home.
Meetup dilaksanakan pada hari Sabut, Tanggal 10 Maret, 2018. Panitia sengaja memilih hari itu karena steemian yang datang dari daerah lain bisa memiliki banyak waktu untuk mengunjungi lokasi wisata yang ada di wilayah ini. Sebagaimana kita tahu bersama, Gayo memilik sumber daya alam yang melimpah dan objek wisata yang menggoda sehingga membuat anda lupa pulang.
I was amazed with this meetup when I was appointed as one of the speakers. As Indonesia curator I managed to address some speech about the progressive work of steemit along with the explanation about its positive effect toward the creative individuals. Indonesia Steemit Community Chapter Gayo was established a couple months ago. Soon, the establishment was done, the members iniated to hold a meetup as the way to gather all the members to work along with community. In every steemit meetup, other regional members were invited to get to know each other. Meetup itself is commonly interpreted as the event to share the knowledge and experience to participants. It means to say, more meetup is help, more people get new knowledge and information.
Komunitas Steemit Indonesia Chapter Gayou dibentuk beberapa bulan lalu. Segera, setelah pembentukan, anggota berinisiasi mengadakan meetup sebagai langkah untuk mengumpulkan semua anggota ke dalam komunitas. Di setiap meetup, anggota-anggota di wilayah pun turut diundang, dimana mereka bisa mengenal satu sama lain. Meetup sendiri diartikan sebagai acara untuk berbagi ilmu dan pengalaman ke para peserta. Artinya, makin banyak meetup, banyak ilmu dan informasi yang diperoleh.
