Sore tadi, Sabtu 20 Januari 2018, usai mengikuti rapat pra meet-up Steemians Chapter East Aceh, saya dan 
Saya tiba sekitar pukul 17:00. Para nelayan sebagian besar sudah pulang melaut. Ratusan boat sudah ditambat berjajar di bibir dermaga.
Beberapa nelayan yang baru mendarat sibuk membongkar hasil tangkapan untuk disortir, lalu dijual ke pengepul lewat pengurus boat masing-masing yang disebut toke bangku. Dari pengepul, komoditi laut tersebut kemudian diedar ke berbagai daerah lain dengan truk, termasuk ke Medan, Sumatera Utara.
"Hasil penjualan kita bagi sesuai porsi. Tekong kapal atau pawang boat dapat jatah lebih besar ketimbang anak buah kapal. Alhamdulillah, cukuplah untuk makan dan biaya sekolah anak-anak," kata Munawir, 37 tahun, salah seorang nelayan Idi Rayeuk.
Di sudut lain dermaga, beberapa pekerja mulai menggulung pipa dan menggudangkan mesin pompa air, sebagai isyarat aktivitas pelabuhan segera berhenti, untuk menyambut malam. Namun, sebagian pedagang kecil masih menjajakan ikan dan udang, ditumpuk di atas cooler box sebagai lapak darurat.

Sayangnya, karena hari sudah senja dan rumah kami terpaut jauh dari Pelabuhan Idi Rayeuk, tawaran itu terpaksa kami tolak. Jika membeli, kami khawatir udang itu tidak segar lagi begitu sampai di rumah.
Maafkan kami Pak Abdullah, Insya Allah pada saat meet-up nanti, kami pasti kembali lagi untuk memborong dagangan bapak. Dalam rapat pra meet up, kawan- kawan sepakat acara digelar di tepi pantai, dengan menu utama sea-food panggang, termasuk ikan dan udang.
Percayalah Pak Abdullah, jika tidak ada aral melintang; teupeih jarow-gaki, kami pasti kembali. Doakan saja meet-up kami itu jadi. Jika pun batal, udang Pak Abdullah, akan tetap kami beli, untuk buat mi. 😊
