The main tower of the Great Mosque was built during the reign of Governor Ibrahim Hasan. The tower inaugurated in 1993 is the highest tower in Banda Aceh City. The main tower is located on the front yard of Baiturrahman Great Mosque. From the courtyard of the mosque, we scatter the view forward. There is a Ottoman empire-style Turkish bath pool on the courtyard of the great Baiturrahman Mosque. The position of the tower is parallel to the pool of water fountains. The existence of this pool presents its own beauty. Watching the shadow of the Grand Mosque Tower in this water pool, becomes an extraordinary sensation of beauty.
