IFC S1 R38 - Motivation/Inspiration, Contest entry by Jan23com

The contest is to write about Motivation or Inspiration. They are pretty much the same thing to me. Motivated, does the Motivation provide any Inspiration, Then vice-versa.
What motivates people? Why do anything? What if your ship came in? you had those millions of financial security. You no longer need to work, you travelled the world met all the cool people you met online. What would inspire you to do anything for anyone? what would motivate you to do anything for yourself? Hobbies, of course, we may develop a more expensive hobby too. Would our families Inspire us and in what way?

For the Artist, he would be inspired to create, music drawings compositions. For the sportsman, it would be to go faster for longer to be stronger. Finance is no longer a need this could not be the motivation. Is finance the only motivation there is? Does the only reward have to be financial?

On these things, I can only speak my own opinion and they may not make sense to some. I have a need for the finances I may be able to gain, and this need is it helps me to survive.

Motivation
Is this what motivates me? Yes partially, but short-term rewards are non-existent. It will be some time before I can see any kind of financial reward. Although my Steem may go up, I need this to work in Steemit too. So no paydays for a while. It can't be the finance reward why I put this effort in. Yes! it can. The potential for the availability of investment funding is what provides the motivation.
So I am motivated to keep going on Steemit and put the effort in where I can and understand to improve the abilities I now have.

Where does the Inspiration fit in?
Inspiration. This is all around me, It is all over Steemit and Discord in The Hive group and in other members of other Discord groups and posts, I view. It is all around me, sometimes it is hard to see and often I misunderstand it. But it is there in everyone I meet. I get Inspired to write, to try to write well, I get inspired by engagement and helping others. Getting helped by others, Seen others helping others.

Maybe. Motivation and Inspiration are both sides of the same spark of a thought in the mind. Maybe they just divide as they develop in thought. One side the one you think more about will take over and motivate you or inspire you and both in ways will always be there. One lifting the other up. To me, they are the same thing on different sides. I am both motivated and inspired by Steemit, and one just complements the other in a circle.
It is like an eternity, The potential of Steemit motivates a visit which once experienced Inspires to out-do oneself and better others in Steemit and the people, who then motivate and Inspire others on a daily basis. (maybe going Cryptic there) it just keeps going on forever.

The rewards are so small for so many, There has to be more that motivates us.
