On Sunday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, augured "new battles" from his Government in the Organization of American States (OAS), which this month passed a resolution in which they do not recognize his recent re-election as head of state, and in the world.
"New battles are coming for the truth of Venezuela in the OAS and the world," the president wrote at the foot of a video he shared on his social network account Twitter @NicolasMaduro.
The audiovisual shows part of the statements made by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Jorge Arreaza, within the framework of the OAS General Assembly, where the measure against Caracas was approved with the support of 19 of the 34 member states.
"It has been a great victory in the capital of imperialism," Maduro added, alluding to Arreaza's participation in Washington where the 14 countries that make up the Lima Group failed to gather the necessary support to suspend Venezuela from the continental body.
