Look up! Day 1.

Inspired by Hive account@lyndsaybowes, I wish to help spread awareness of this very real issue that most people would rather ignore.

These are the skies above me today in Duluth, MN. I know, "they" want you to believe these are normal clouds. Truth is, these clouds did not exist in our childhoods.

They're coming up with all these ridiculous names, like mammatus clouds that are supposedly "rare" but very suddenly cropping up all over the world in the past couple of years.

And when a "hole punch cloud" appears people panic and contact news stations because they're still so freaky to people. A series of them showed up here in Minnesota in 2014 and people flipped out.

"But don't worry!" Says the cute meteorologist on the idiot box. "It's perfectly normal for "clouds" you have NEVER SEEN BEFORE to randomly show up all over the damned state!"
