New revelations are coming to light about the involvement of Russian tampering in the last election... But it's not what you think. Evedince is beginning to mount up about the sweetheart deal Uranium One foe 20% of all uranium produced in the US. First we need to look at exactly who Uranium One is... According to their own website, uranium One is a "wholly owned subsidiary of ROSATOM the Russian State corporation for Nuclear Energy." (See link below) In other words, Uranium One is owned by the Russian government.
According to Wikipedia, Uranium One has interests in Australia, Canada, Kazakhstan, S. Africa and the US. While Hillary Clinton was Sec. of State, Canadian billionaire and mining tycoon, Frank Giustra, along with Bill Clinton flew to Kazakhstan to meet with President Nursultan Nazarbayev to broker a deal for the nation's rich uranium deposits fro Giustra's company UrAsia. He later sold a controlling interest to Uranium One. The Clinton foundation received $145 Million from the Russian govt on behalf of Vladimir Putin as well as large undisclosed (and unreported) amounts from Giustra (2.3 Million)and the nation of Kazakhstan. Giustra also had dealings for large tracks of rain forest in Columbia when he and Mr. Clinton just happened to run into Sec of State Hillary Clinton while she was dining with the Columbian president (who was deposed not long after). However, it's the uranium deal we're interested in here. In 2009, Special Prosecuter Robert Mueller, who was then FBI Chief along with Dept. Atty. General Rod Rosenstein were placed in charge of investigating the deal on behalf of the Obama White House, and naturally found no evidence of wrong doing. (See links below)
There was, of course, a witness to all of the malfeasences, an American businessman who was present at all of the negotiations. The Obama Justice Dept. predictably issued a gag order on him. His attorney, Victoria Toensing, has petitioned the Trunp Justice Dept. to lift the gag order so that he might come forward with his valuable information. This will be the real test of Atty. General Jeff Sessions' integrity. He has the power to lift the gag, whether he will or not will determine whether or not he is indeed just a part of the swamp.
