New information has come to light.
I have covered this before, though in a very amateur style. This in part is possibly to aid v4vapid, if he should wish to use the information, and to also help give others some insight into how fake news is spread by governments, to enable them to bomb other nations via making their leaders seem like mass murderers.
Although the Syrian observatory for human rights sounds legit as a large organization that reports on the war in Syria from inside, it is actually some dude in Coventry England, that has been in jail 3 times in Syria, reports are he was locked up for theft, fraud etc, though he claims he was a political prisoner, I bet he does.
Lets get this mans name down on the block, the man that is the sole source of information coming out of his organization, he is one Rami Abdulrahman who runs two clothes shops in the day with his wife, and this is where he does his information reporting from, and his interviews. You got that right, really you could not make this up if you tried, nobody would believe you.
I have seen this man quoted on the BBC 1000's of times as the Syrian observatory for human rights, not only them, CNN, Fox news, and every newspaper in the west, and every news network. As soon as he/they are quoted I close down the page if on the internet, turn off the tv if it is on there, not that I watch tv much anyway.
New information has come to light.
It has come to light, and been confirmed in the UK, that this lone ranger has been funded in the UK to the tune of £194,769.60 or around $240,000.00 to buy communication equipment and cameras, that was in 2012 alone, I have zero idea how much he has been paid since. Now considering he runs a clothes shop or two, and lives in Coventry plus if he goes back to Syria he will get arrested, as when he fled he was up in court on a 4th charge and faced prison again, we can only assume this tax payers funding was for a digital camera to take photos of Coventry, a mobile phone for interviews whilst at his shop, and a home landline phone, all of which would cost no more than a few hundred £. So he is actually on the government payroll no less.
It has long been suspected that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is funded by Western governments. This is the first official confirmation that the leading “monitoring group” — which is run by a pro-opposition activist working from his home in England — has gotten money from the UK government. It is also worth noting that the SOHR’s rival the Syrian Network for Human Rights, which is much less reputable and even more explicitly partisan, has quietly admitted in passing that it is funded by “states.” The SNHR is notorious for whitewashing the crimes of ISIS, al-Qaeda, and other extremist militias in Syria.)
The “Observatory” says on its website that it is “not associated or linked to any political body.”
‘To which I reply: Is Boris Johnson’s Foreign Office not a political body? Because the FO just confirmed to me that “the UK funded a project worth £194,769.60 to provide the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights with communications equipment and cameras.” That’s quite a lot, isn’t it? I love the precision of that 60p. Your taxes, impartially, at work.’
This figure was confirmed in communication with the Foreign Office by independent political journalist Ian Sinclair. (Email to Media Lens, May 17, 2018)
In 2011, Reuters reported that Rami Abdulrahman is ‘the fast-talking director of arguably Syria’s most high-profile human rights group’, SOHR:
Here is a link to one article regarding this information that came to light this year. Human rights.
Government fake agencies.
Most of us know or have read how the white helmets are funded by the west as a propaganda tool, and so is this Syrian observatory for human rights, at least the white helmets are actually near or in Syria to aid and abet the fake chemical weapons attacks, unlike this dude who never leaves Coventry, yet is quoted as a credible source for all of the presstitutes in the west!
Information is king, so discounting anything this fake organization says is wise to say the very least. v4vapid has also covered the white helmets here today. Well worth a read to say the least.
RT also interviewed him, and here is a link to that and what he said.
EXCLUSIVE: Man who runs SOHR admits to RT he last visited Syria 15 years ago!
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has been feeding news about the Syrian war to many media outlets, claiming to have a wide network of contacts on the ground. RT caught up with its director to find out how trustworthy those sources are.
Recently RT went to investigate what makes SOHR so popular with the mainstream media. Journalist and prankster Nimrod Kamer, who volunteered to help find out the answer, travelled to the Midlands to see the headquarters of the Observatory and speak to its director.
Kamer had no luck catching Rami Abdulrahman at home, however. Calling him on the phone, he found out the man went out to a shop. The director of the Observatory sounded very distressed on the phone, talking about the dangers of meeting up for daytime interviews because “they are trying to kill me.”
Not been to Syria in 15 years?
So do you believe this dude who has not stepped foot in Syria for 15 years, who owns two shops in Coventry and thinks everyone is trying to kill him, yet he serves the public all day long, every day? I hope this information helps you to make more informed decisions regarding the information you are fed, as just like the white helmets, and the millions they receive from the west including the UK "BOTH" are clearly on government payrolls.
