Representative Steve King was discussing the fact that liberals assign names to Conservatives; with no regard for accuracy! He listed some of the terms that have foisted upon Conservatives, intended to do harm: White nationalist, white supremacist, and even Western civilization! He asked why Western civilization was on this list or considered derogatory?
The NY Times immediately claimed that he included their injected terms of; white nationalist, white supremacists as a term he was defending all three of these terms. It is obvious he was not defending, White nationalist, white supremacist, and had included those examples of excessive liberal attempts to control the discussion itself, and to blame conservatives for holding these views. As a side note, those groups have the right to their personal views, even if WE do Not like them; it is no different than Black Lives Matter, all are hate groups tied to skin color as their claim to superiority!

It IS obvious that they Deliberately misunderstood what he said in an attempt to spin the story to their advantage; and to further harm Conservatives, using lies!
The Honorable Representative Steve King No relation to the Author), fought them directly; which is the Last thing they expected him to do! He called them out, and attacked their spin, which they are not used to seeing. This, instead of a wake up call, brought a renewed attack, which really made them look petty!
Alternate media outlets, like 
MORE people wronged by their poor quality (not fact checked) journalism, should sue them for damages!
