I should say thanks to Tony Evers, but I'm afraid I might throw up a little bit in my mouth if I tried...

If you don't know, Tony Evers has been Wisconsin's Superintendent of Public Instruction since 2009.

He has a nefarious record of letting school teachers and principals keep their teaching licenses after they get into trouble for immoral conduct, including sexual misconduct.

This article reports the following:

Since taking over as leader of the state Department of Public Instruction in 2009, Tony Evers has allowed at least 13 teachers and principals to keep their Wisconsin teaching licenses after those employees lost their jobs due to “immoral conduct." School district investigations into these employees found “immoral conduct” including sexual harassment, tampering with standardized tests, stealing private student data and having inappropriate relationships with children.

My kids saw him on TV and thought he was really creepy. Children are often excellent at reading people too. I did not coach them to think this.

He also supports raising taxes all across the board - on the already struggling farmers in our state, on gasoline, on small businesses. Out of his own mouth he said anything is on the table when speaking of what taxes to raise.

Oh, did I forget to mention that he won the race for governor in November?

Yeah, he's our governor now....

I had to try and explain to my kids why the creepy guy is our new governor, when they asked me about it in disbelief and horror...

To get to the point of this story, I noticed something in my house for the first time today. I thought it was amusing when I saw it though. Partly because it's been sitting on my wall since September of 2017. You see, I tested for my GED in September of 2017, and passed. I received the certificate, put it in a frame, and hung it on my wall. Today for the first time, I saw who signed my GED.

The signature is a little hard to see, let's get a little closer.

That's right...none other than Tony Evers.

I mean, this isn't totally shocking, considering he was superintendent of public instruction, but I was still totally taken off guard.

Now I live in my home with a little piece of Tony Evers with me every day! Oh joy, how cozy!

Not that I really like any politicians, but Tony Evers is a special kind of wrong.

Hmm...maybe I'll just burn it... 🤔
