On June 18, 2020, Chief Justice John Roberts disgraced the Supreme Court and humiliated himself by authoring the dopey DACA decision. (Yes, that’s right he wrote this dumb decision himself).
In the excision, Roberts admits in writing that Obama’s act in issuing the DACA protection order was unconstitutional (This should not have been too difficult to determine, because Obama himself admitted that he did not have the legal au6horit to do issue his DACA order.
Then Roberts admitted, in writing, that President Trump had the absolute right under the constitution to reverse the illegal Obama, DACA order.
So how did Roberts’s decision come out so wrong?
Roberts wrote that the notes accompanying President Trump’s order overturning Obama’s unconstitutional act did not adequately spell out President Trump’s rational for Trump’s lawful decision.
What dimwit John Roberts missed is the fact that there is no law requiring the president of the United States (elected by the American people) the justify why he chose to take an admittedly lawful action, particularly to satisfy his reason for so doing to the satisfaction of some dimwitted unelected judge who apparently is admitting that the unelected judge could not figure out for himself why the elected president undertook his admittedly lawful act.
It is obvious to the entire would, that the dimwitted Roberts just used this pathetic excuse to render a purely political decision, and in so doing have the Supreme Court enact legislation (which the Supreme Court is prohibit from doing under the United States Constitution).
Nice work Roberts, you moron!
Incidentally, on June 21, news reports contained interviews with DACA beneficiaries, who were complaining the Supermen Court ruling did nothing to give the DACA beneficiaries the legal status, which they desired. They complained that when President Trump offer to solidify their status in exchange for the right to build the border wall (which deal the DACC beneficiaries approved that deal collapsed when the Democrat members of congress refused to approve President Trump’s offer.
