Finally! After 24 days of looking at the #inktober tag I decided to join.
On the day 25...
But better late than never, right? :)
I wanted to do it for such a long time.. Every day I was checking the theme... thinking what I could draw... then looking what other drew... and that was it. I just didn't think I can do anything even closely as cool. Or imaginative...
Guys (yes, to all of you participating if you read it) you have some imagination!
And the rest (whoever is reading) go check out the tag. Especially if you like to see other people draw.
As for today... I wanted to draw something truly tasty: a mountain of candies, cookies, deserts and junk food. And then I looked at my cat and she was staring at the fly on the window.. And I could almost imaging her saying "yummmm".
So this is how I ended up doing this:
Of course everything starts in a head. It was supposed to be a bird on a tree staring at the cat under and mocking him... which cat was drooling to the bird.
Then I though that some nasty dog could also drool to a cat. Lastly, why not a bird drools to something too?
Then is a time for a very rough sketch.
And a moment when a dog became an evil shadow of unidentified monster.
After having that done, time to get to a proper likes.
To make it more fitting, I was using "Inking Pen" bush in my app. It is actually one I use the most (since yesterday when I got the app hehe).
After the lines are done and everything is positioned when I want it to be, time to decide which part will be black and which one will stay white.
Lastly some bits and pieces where and there. Adding the very important text, frame and signature and we are done :)
Well... it is all definitely Tasty stuff, right? :)
