Recently, I have come to realize that we are our own worst enemies when it comes to success or achieving our goals and dreams. Most of us just keeps getting in the way of our achievements with some certain habits; these habits are what keeps stopping us from being the best version of ourselves.
Most times, these habits could include comparing ourselves to the other person or refusing to try something out because we are simply scared of the outcome. But here’s a fact though; only you and you is the wielder of your own destiny, no one can help you achieve what you are not willing to do.
Here’s how to deal with these habits that keeps limiting your dreams; the first thing is to ‘get out'! Sitting around and contemplating whether you will get results or not is the most silliest thing to ever do. Why not just take a step first? Taking a step will help eradicate the fear of failure in you.
Secondly; Stop pleasing people! You own your life and you owe yourself everything to be successful. Stop putting others first before yourself. Stop being the doormat and start putting yourself first.
Thirdly; Get self-esteem and self-worth! See yourself overcoming barriers, never think low of yourself and you will see how you will attract greater dreams. One step to getting self-worth is to do away with negative energy. Make friends with positive people and remember to always be nice.
One other thing to do is to celebrate yourself more often. Celebrate your wins because basically no success is small. This will help you to become better.
Above all, the process is not easy, being the best version of yourself takes rigorous work and determination. You need to start today and now! Get out and dream big! Ignore the noise around you and continue hitting the nail.
