Working on the InnuenDo stack, I'vr been using a few very crappy mostly hand made logo's so far. In this post I want to share some progress on trying to fix this. What I have now is AI slop, but it should give an artist an idea of the direction I want to go. Before we go into the logo history, let's revisit the InnuenDo stack.
At the botton of the InnuenDo stack we see native CoinZdense implementations. Go and Rust aren't on the roadmap right now, but the C++ libcoinzdense very much is. In the layer abouve that we see language bindings for CoinZdense for amongst others Python and TypeScript.
Them, the layer above that we see Bot/L2 frameworks. The Domain Specific Language Merg-E embeds both language bindings and a Bot/L2 framework.
Yggdrasil
When we look at the InnuenDo stack as a whole, we see tree-shaped graphs everywhere. In the CoinZdenze layer, we have level keys that are merkle trees. Then a little abouve that we have long lived signing keys that are lazily generated trees of level keys. The authority managed by CoinZdenze is an authority tree. Then in the middle, almost everything in Merg-E is a tree adjacent Directional Acyclic Graph, and it's very core is an in-memory graph database named Yggdasyl after the mythical tree from norse mythology. Then finaly in the future when I get to implementing w3minorfs, w3minorfs will be based on a Rumpelstiltskin tree. Trees everywhere. Because of that, we are going to promote Yggdrasyl as one of the uniting style elements in all of our logos in the InnuenDo stack.
CoinZdense
This was the original CoinZdense logo. This obviously isn't going to fit. CoinZdense is the quantum resistence communication and chains wide delegation layer. As such the squirel Ratatoskr from norse mythology seems a good representative of everything CoinZdenze. That is, for the C++ lib and al of it's language bindings. In Nore mythology Ratatoskr is the one carrying messages between the creatured under and in the tree Yggdrasil.
So here is the AI slop that I'm temporaraly using for CoinZdense. This immage was generated by Gemini. I'm aharing this image with the artist that I'll hire to make me a decent set of logos:
I'm absolutely not happy with how Ratatoskr looks in this bit of slop, but Yggdrasil and the circle of runes does give the vibe I am looking for.
The Web 3.0 Bot/L2 frameworks
The currently started framework aiow3 didn't have a logo yet, but it's direct predececor and donor of most of it's code, aiohivebot does, and it is possibly worse than the CoinZdense logo:
We dive into Norse mythology again, and here Huginn and Muninn, Odin's two ravens, representing thought and memory fit the task of the bot and L2 frameworks.
Again prety bad and obvious AI slop. The ravens are baraly visible at all, but I'm sure theartist will be able to use it for inspiration and guidance.
Merg-E
For Merg-E the symbolism is glaringly obvious. The scheduler in Merg-E that is topworking Yggdrasil is named Níðhöggr or Nidhoggr, the dragon libing underneath Yggdrasil biting at it's roots.
I think this is actually the least slop of all of the AI slop Gemini generated. I'm currently using it as temporary logo. I'll replace it everywhere once I have my real logos.
The artist
I'm not quite sure yet who I should contract for these logos. My 19 year old daughter is currently doing a study that includes graphic design. I'm tempted to give her her very first paid assignment. I'm hesitant because there is a chance it might not be good enough, and if it isn't, it is hard to treat it as a business contract. In fact, I might end up using her work even if it isn't good enough.
Alternatively I could reach out to who did a great job on the illustrations for my novel Ragnarok Conspiracy, and who made a nice logo for the new fashion business for someone deeply close to me. But with all the madness going on in Venezuela, I'm not sure if the internet and the crypto lines into that country are OK to risk right now.
A third option is running a competition here on HIVE with a contract and some HIVE as first price. I'm powering down a bit just in case I end up choosing that option.
Right now I'm very tempted to see if my daughter can pull this off, even if I worry that I won't be able to treat her as my someone I'm contracting rather than my litle girl.
