especially when they are hairy?
because they are not supposed to be hairy... because of the exoskeleton?

oh yea.....by the way.......its a white-oak-borer.....basically a beetle.....that deposits eggs in white oak trees ....and when the eggs hatch they burrow into the tree and feed on the liquid nutrients in the tree.....and the tree ends up starving and dying.......yep.....
