The shortage of roosters in marriage in chickens is not a serious thing for breeders who understand the way inseminasi.
this is not a new way in cattle, there are many chicken breeders who do insemination in order to simplify or even cut the number of males on their livestock.
Not only poultry farmers who do it but goat farmers, cattle and other consumption animals have done a lot of insemination on their livestock for the purpose of saving costs.
there are some advantages that come from this practice one of them is to save the number of rooster, with this breeders can save the cost of feed and medicine their rooster.
The Way Of Insemination Is :
Before taking sperm, cock stud should be satisfied more or less for 10 hours. it aims to reduce stool contamination in sperm that is accommodated.
To facilitate sperm retrieval, should be done at least two people, one person holding the chicken one more tasked to stimulate the rooster to remove sperm.
Give a soft foreplay from the upper groin to the base of the tail, repeat this way several times until the rooster is aroused, marked by the tail going up and out the bulge from the cloaca.
When the rooster has been aroused, with the index finger and thumb directly pressing the cloaca until ejaculation occurs. When ejaculation occurs, sperm out immediately accommodated.
