I came across this short inspirational video by Sean Buranahiran, (BE PROUD OF YOUR SCAR) It's so touching that I listen to it over and over again.
** The video is an encouragement to create something wonderful out of any suitation that will want to put a negative dent on your life and personality**
Be proud of your scars
Below is the inspirational words from the video
When a bowl is broken in Japan, it is put together with cracked being filled with gold creating a beautiful lining. This to emphasize the beauty in what was once broken. They believe when something has suffered damage has a history it makes it beautiful. The same goes with human beings everything that you’ve been through that you’re going through, does not make your life uglier, although it may seem that way when we’re going through it, it’s up to you to paint or struggles with gold and make it beautiful.
You’re not broken beyond repair you can pick yourself up and learn from what has happen and become a better person from it because of the struggle you’ve been through. You can wear your scary proudly as a badge of honor as if to say, look at what I’ve been through, its’ has made me who I am today. I can get through anything life put in front of me now.
Nobody have a perfect life and nobody ever will. It’s only up to us if we choose to paint our broken pieces with gold and make it beautiful. Don’t be ashamed of what happened to you, everything that has happen to you has happened for a reason. So the more you deny, the more you complain and don’t accept what’s happened to us, then it doesn’t useful, the moment that we accept and find what’s is useful in the struggle, the thing we’ve been through, that’s is just like us painting the crack in our broken pieces of gold, turning something that could ugly into something beautiful and inspiring. When what you have been through is inspiration for other people, then it was all worth it. So don’t get stuck on how things used to be. I once heard a quote that said every next level of your life will demand a new you and sometimes it takes to be broken, in order to become that new version of yourself.
