There are many ways you can keep your brain active, but one thing that is good to do is to play mind games. You can either play them with yourself or someone else. What are mind games you ask? They are imagination games you play with yourself to stimulate your brainpower and help to keep you from becoming bored.
Try This
One example would be to draw 9 dots, laid out three by three. The goal is to connect them all with four straight lines, and without lifting the pencil from the piece of paper. Talk about thinking outside the box! Lol.
Long Road Trips
Long road trips are also a great place to play mind games. If you’re with other people, have them play along with you. For instance, a good game you can play would be to choose any object you see. How can you start to make money with that object?
You can also pick any topic. What would be a new perspective of looking at that topic? For instance, could there be a world in which laws didn’t exist? What kind of world would that be like? The possibilities are infinite and your imagination is your only limitation.
When You’re at Work
When I’m at work, I like to play a lot of mind games with myself. Mind games are also a great way to pass the time if you’re bored. What I like to do is to imagine a customer’s reaction if I were to say or act something really wacky to them. I then share this idea with my co-workers and they think it’s hilarious. It’s a good way to pass the time.
I also like to get new ideas for music and making money when I’m at work. I let my mind wander and take me away. I don’t even pay attention to the time, because time goes by a lot faster when you’re not paying attention to it. Try it the next time you’re bored somewhere and you don’t have a thing to do.
Start thinking of different things and explore your imagination. Don’t pay attention to the time. You’ll be surprised at how quickly time starts to go by!
