Purusartha in Sanskrit means object of human pursuit. The four objects of Purusartha are Dharma (righteousness, moral value), Artha (prosperity, economic value), Kama (pleasure, love, emotional fulfillment), and Moksha (liberation, spiritual values).
All four Purusarthas are important, but in cases of conflict, Dharma is considered more important than Artha and Kama in Hindu philosophy.
Moksha is considered the ultimate ideal of human life.
