How often do you become silently still?
These last couple of days have been unbelievably hectic. Running around at work, the kids are getting ready for term exams and tying to get all the extra work up to date is filling up every minute of my day.
With so many things to do during the day with limited time will definitely rob you of taking a few minutes for yourself.
Spending time on your own is not just a nice to have, but I think it is essential. There is nothing selfish about spending a bit of time on getting your mind and spirit refocused again. To become silently still, so that you can hear your heartbeat and breathing is so therapeutic. Thats my recharging time, where I would speak to God and meditate on His word.
After taking a couple of minutes of becoming silently still, I honestly feel like moving forward again.
......Without breath, there is death.....
