Magandang buhay💚
Nothing much was done today, yet the time seemed to have gone by so quickly. Or maybe the days are really shorter (night longer) this season.
Two insurance agents came by in the morning, so Dad and I had to pause fixing his kitchen cabinet doors. We didn't realize until they left that almost three hours had been wasted from chismis and stuff. We actually know them, that's why we entertained them; otherwise, we would have made excuses not to, LOL!
Joke aside, we had some catching up, as we hadn't seen them in a long while. Then they presented some quite nice proposals, which they said were tailored to our age and capacity to pay. Unfortunately, I am not interested in getting another yet (not too soon).
Dad lost trust in the same company due to an agent's mistakes, which led him to forfeit what he had already paid (not a small sum). He was totally discouraged from the experience and said, "Never again," and I don't blame him. He expressed regret for trusting the agent who had made him and Mom enroll two years ago.
Anyway, we thanked them for thinking of us and for visiting, but we didn't give any indication or assurance that we would sign up anytime soon, so I hope they won't bug us in the near future. Then again, who knows if we would change our minds?
The rest of the afternoon was spent finishing off the kitchen-thingy at Dad's.
Meanwhile, Yongi was quite upset about being left alone in the house. The moment I came back around late afternoon, he started digging and scratching the couch. His tantrums can be really amusing. But I learned that laughing while he is in such a mood encourages him to keep doing the same. So I pretended to be unaffected (not looking at him or paying attention to what he was doing), which made him stop, lol!
I'm still trying to find effective means to tame his temper.
