I read (isn't it really red, but not the color??) that this is one of the clickbait sentences that whoever runs clickbait ads uses to get people to read their stuff. I am so tired. I am always the bridesmaid never the bride. I have been looking for a new job. I have a pretty impressive resume and I just can't seem to close the deal. I think I am everyone's number two, and that frankly feels shitty. I have applied for some many jobs I am the perfect candidate for and just can't seem to close it. The feedback I get is "the team loved you" but they wanted someone that had more cross functional knowledge of the position. ie the internal person that it's a stretch job for but they are a known commodity. I am a transplant with no inside network. It sucks. I am sure it's my fault but I just wanted to get it off my chest. Troll away....
