Hello Beautiful People!

I've been on Steemit for a while now, and I haven't actually written a post yet. Here I go.

I am a human being of the female persuasion, mostly from Oregon. I am in my early thirties, I am married to a man, and I have a cute little dog named Layla.

I try to keep things up beat and positive, but I am only human and sometimes I let negative things affect me.

My sweet little puppy is actually an 11 year old dog that I adopted in December of 2016 when she was 10 years old. I had waited 10 years to get another dog after my lovely poodle Pilot passed away suddenly from pancreatitis. Who knew that this lovely little being was born that same year, and it took us this long to find each other.

As you can see, I'm not very good at talking about myself. I feel kind of awkward posting anything, since I don't really have anything life changing to say. I'm not a part of a major movement, I don't claim a political party, or a religion. I believe that I am Soul having a human experience. I have no religion, but love. I find that religions tend to be about controlling something or someone, and I'm just not interested in that.
