My name is Abhishek Dixit and I along with my teammate Shardendu Mishra are building an eye controlled mouse.
Many people with neurological issues or the
individuals who have been paralyzed by a mishap
can't interact with PCs for regular tasks like sending and getting messages, surfing on the web, or
watching their favourite TV shows or movies. It was found through a new exploration concentrate
on that since eyeballs move normally while collaborating with hardware, they are a phenomenal
contender for computing the eye ball tracking The ability to utilise computers again for these
patients may be possible by utilising the underlying information from eye movements. To do this,
we propose an eye-controlled mouse.
Proposed System
The user has to sit in front of the display screen of a private computer or PC, a specialized video
camera is established above the screen to study the consumer’s eyes. The PC's camera constantly
analyzes the video photo of the attention and determines where the consumer is calling on the display
screen. Not anything is attached to the user’s head or body. To “pick out” any key, the user seems at
the key for an exact period and to “press” any key, the consumer blink an eye. On this device, a
calibration procedure is not required. For this system enter is the simplest eye. No outside hardware is
connected or required.
Impact on Society
An eye-controlled mouse enhances accessibility for individuals with disabilities, enabling them to interact with computers more effectively. This technology promotes inclusivity, independence, and productivity, significantly improving quality of life and fostering greater participation in digital and professional environments.
Winning Potential
This project has winning potential due to its innovative approach to accessibility. By empowering individuals with limited mobility to interact with computers effortlessly, it addresses a significant need, promoting inclusivity and setting a new standard in assistive technology.
