Hiya! I'm Rochelle Sam, hospice nurse from Wichita, KS, USA.
I'm not your "normal" computer nerd. 😂
I worked at a computer store in college, setting up networks, building computers and teaching software. It paid the bills but I didn't stay in the computer industry for long. I studied theology and chemistry/pre Med at a private catholic college. Obtained my nursing degree and worked in hospice/home health and markerting for 10 years. I wanted to continue my education and eventually become an DNP (doctor nurse; basically a MD) but I have lupus and rheumatoid disease. After I was hit by a semi truck, while stopped at a red light, I lost my clavicle (it's a metal plate, with rad scars!) and I'm not able to physically keep up the demands of nursing without great struggle. So, when one of my dearest friends educated me on cryptocurrency; I was "all in".
I'm currently day trading cryptocurrency, mining and learning to code, in hopes to become an asset in the Blockchain community.
I have two kiddos. Isaac (11) and Katriel (7, adopted) and two dogs that keep me on my toes. My dream is to start a nonprofit that improves quality of life and gives back to the planet. (I'm a happy hippie 😉) I'd like to work remotely, learn, travel and experience life as it was meant to be. Peaceful and lovely.
I consider myself a spiritual person. I spend a great deal of time in meditation, doing yoga, reading and being in nature. My overall life purpose is to serve others; I gain a great deal of satisfaction helping others.
I'm looking for any and all opportunities to dive into blockchain technology as a full time career. If you have any advice, I'd love to hear it! I appreciate the kindness from everyone so far and look forward to working in this industry for years to come. ❤️
