Hello everyone!
My name is Kati and I’m a new member in this community. It was my boyfriend who introduced me to steem for a while ago.
I am a Swedish Asian girl, born and raised in Sweden. I am an athletic girl and I love training. I have a license as Personal Trainer, but I am not working as a PT. My favorite sport is martial arts and I have practiced Taekwondo for 13 years. Currently I am a member of the SWE national team in taekwondo and I compete in pattern (just like kata in karate).
Another passion I have is dancing. I dance ballet and bollywood and it is so much fun. Maybe some people will think that dance and martial arts are two totally different things, but in fact, they have a lot in common. Both require great body control, flexibility, coordination and strength. Martial art has helped me in my dance lessons with the strength and power, and dance has helped me in martial arts with rytm and flow. They complement each other very well.
Beside from training, I also like to travel. As a girl alone, I went backpacking in South east Asia and Australia for a couple of months when I was younger. At the end of year 2016, I counted that I have visited 30 countries and 40 cities (Swedish cities not included since I am from Sweden). Many of the visits have in fact been for competitions and training camps. So being an athlete is very good, since you get the opportunity to travel around the world, and sometimes even to places you won’t go normally as a tourist.
I have degrees in psychology and behavioural science, but I am not working in that field either. Instead I have a 9 to 5 office job. It is very boring, but this job suits my training and travel schedule fine and helps me finance my travels.
Other interests I have is music, cooking and baking, and animals. I have always loved animals and have a netherland dwarf rabbit at home. His name is Chips and he is 1,5 years old.
Yes, I'm a real rabbit on Steemit! ;)
I am not a completely vegetarian, but I prefer to eat vegetarian food or demi-vegeterian food (i.e fish and seafood is ok). I believe that my purpose here in this earth is not to harm other living creatures, but rather to spread harmony and live in co-existence with the animals and nature.
In my blog you can read about my training, travel, food, everyday life and sometimes maybe some of my thoughts.
Please, upvote if you like this introduction, and follow if you like training and travel.
Cheers!
