Hello, everyone is very happy to me be able join on this Hive Blog, after a year I left writing on media based on blockchain. My name is Etik Nurhalimah, but ussualy I use my pen name Etty Diallova. Or just call me “Etty”.
I am an Indonesian who is currently working and studying in Taiwan. However, one year before graduating my bachelor's degree, I had to focus on college assignments. So I decided to quit since. Because a proverb says, "Focus on one thing, it will give maximum results". I know Hive Blog from my friend , and also

My hobbies are writing and reading in the midst of my busy studies and working overseas. Writing, for me, can be used as therapy when I miss my family in my hometown. I love all kinds of writing, be it fiction or nonfiction. Even when I first learned to write, I started writing poetry that I posted on my Facebook account. However, after that I started thinking, how to develop a hobby of writing, to earn an income. Until finally I started learning to write articles and news to be sent to the media. Until finally I was trusted to be a writing contributor in Indonesian-language media in Taiwan (TIMedia).
I won two trophy on my Writing with tittle “Promise on Epidemic”
My 1st book short story was published in 2015, with the title "The woman behind the storm The book is a collection of short stories that tell how tough women are in living this tough life. In addition to caring for children, taking care of saumi, women also often have to play a dual role in working. Many of these women decided to work as migrant workers abroad, such as in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Even though I am not active in the Blooging world, my writing activities are still running. Because writing is like for me the breath and blood in the body will continue to flow and have to walk. For one year I focused on participating in competitions, whether held in Taiwan or Indonesia. During 2020 I received several awards.

2nd Place, Indonesian Economic Trade Office (KDEI) Taipei Essay Competition, with Education Sub-theme. Received two awards at the Taiwan Literature Award for Migrants, with the title "Promise in Epidemic". Besides that, I also participated in the Essay competition in Indonesia regarding the handling of the Corona Virus (COVID-19)
As we know, Taiwan is one of the countries that can handle COVID-19 well with a very low mortality rate. In the middle of 2019, I planned to return to Indonesia briefly to carry out a graduation ceremony in Jakarta. However, since the pandemic broke out in early 2020, the Taiwan government has not issued re-entry permits for foreigners. So that when I returned home, I wouldn’t come back to Taiwan anymore

The pandemic has changed all activities. Initially, every Sunday I could do activities outside the home, but now it has to be reduced. However, occasionally I am asked to be a speaker at an educational seminar for Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan. I got a lot of things in this country, a discipline, hard work like what the local people do.
I think that’s enough for our current introduction, hopefully joining HIVE will encourage me to writing, get networking and learn about Blockchain too.
