I'm new at this and still figuring out

Okay, well I guess this will be an introductiory post then. I've been waiting on my confirmation from steemit now for a week but I was thinking I might as well introduce myself in the meantime.(hahah, of course that wasn't possible without being signed up.)

In the end I waited for three weeks without a confirmation so I eventually bought my account.

Actually I want to post videos on DTube but this is the first step I guess. I'm still quite confused about the way things work around here but I try to learn as I go.

I'm an artist from Australia and I'm looking for a new platform to connect with people as I didn't really thrive on Instagram and YouTube.

I paint, I do street art, pottery and fashion and also play guitar, sing and write my own songs.

But what's the use in doing those things if you don't have an audience ? Right?

So I'm seeking likeminded people that I can connect with and support each other in living a creative life.
