Hi steemers!
I’m Lisa and from today I’m a steemer too.
I’m 26, even though my physical and mental ageing stopped when I was 22 and as a matter of fact they are still asking for my ID if there is any alcohol in my grocery basket.
I’m Italian and for a series of (un)fortunate events I do not live in the sunny Italy but in UK.
I spent the last 5 years of my life in London and since last March I moved out along the Jurassic coast of Dorset.
I am left-handed and I’m telling you that just so you can imagine how freaking crazy and creative person - and all that shit that the brain’s right hemisphere does, I am.
I consider myself as a self-taugh photographer. I’ve been playing with cameras since my childhood thanks to my dad and, well, I’m still playing! Lately I’ve been into a magical world called video-making and I still suck on it, but I promise as soon as I achieve what I can consider a good result you will be the first ones I will be sharing it with.
I literally am a book worm. I am constantly reading something and if not I feel naked and exposed… is it still about the right hemisphere right?! My favourite author is Murakami, even tho I love to read travel and adventure essays, biographies and novels. I do read with great interest political and psychology essays, poetry and classics. All of this with "fairy lights and hot tea” dressing, please!
I’ve been vegetarian for seven years, I love food and I love it healthy. I am in a phase in which I completely accept my body and love myself and so I take great care of both. I am very active, I work out, I go for jogging, cycling and hiking whenever I can. I’m thinking about getting serious about my passion for yoga. If soon you’ll see pictures of me in India or Nepal is because I will be getting my yoga teacher training.
Finally, what I consider the engine of my life nowadays is my pure and absolute love about TRAVELING.
Since I was young I’ve been dreaming about cycling down the Great Wall of China, drive my motorbike along the Andes, discover Russia and the East with the Trans-Siberian train, camping in Patagonia, taking cargos of water and mineral salts to the children in Africa, walking all the way around this magnificent planet with a backpack.
I am still trying to do all of this in a less romantic way. :P
I’m saving up money, trying to establish a business which will let me travel full-time for a while, until I don’t get tired and want to settle down.
On Steemit I want to share bits of everything, bits of Lisa.
I cannot stuck to a category or topic because I’d feel limited and uncomfortable.
So you can expect to see a set of pictures of my last adventure riding a dog-sled in Norway or a healthy recipe or a complaining post about rainy days in Britain.
So, that’s all folks!
Nice to meet you :)
Lisa
