Hello! How are you? My name is Marven Bernaez, I am 32 years old, I was born and I live in Venezuela in a city called Barcelona, located on the Venezuelan coast in the State of Anzoátegui, where the sunsets are very beautiful.
I will tell you a little bit about me. I am the oldest of three brothers and only female. I met God at 8 years old with an aunt who now lives in Canada. I was the first to meet him at my house, but then, two years later, my parents heard from God because of a marriage problem they had and they started to attend an evangelical Christian church. When I was 12 years old I went with my mom and my brothers to a camp of young Christians and there I met the one who is now my husband. We became friends, our friendship lasted 5 years, we lived in different cities, we communicated by telephone, at that time here in Venezuela there were still no cell phones like now, only phones in houses and when we were 17 we met again in the same place where we had met in camp and we became boyfriends.
Since then our courtship lasted 5 years, God met us in this city where we were able to study, during that time we graduated from university, he is a Senior Technician in Gas and I am a Civil Engineer. When we were 22 we got married.
God blessed us with our first son, John David. was born two years after we were married, the same day that we had married. He has been a blessing to our lives. His name means: faithful to God and beloved. Today he is 7 years old.
One of the most painful stages of our life was the loss of our second son Angel Santiago, died in my womb when I was 27 weeks pregnant. His name meant Messenger that replaces. It was really a difficult time for us, I was hospitalized for many days and I almost lost my life, and I think the baby really was a messenger of God for the things we had to change, which were not right in the eyes of God, so began a time of process, of reform, restoration and learning that soon I will share them little by little. But today I thank Father God for everything we have lived, although difficult to bring much blessing, peace and fulfillment to our family today. Already my husband and I are married for 9 years and we long to continue fulfilling the purpose of life for which we were united.
I love God, I love my family and I hope we can share a lot during this time.
God bless you!
