The other night I announced that Minnow Mentor was launching, and had a great response from a number of people who were all up for being mentored. I am pleased that I am getting through taking a good look at those who have already asked for support, and just wanted to give you the latest.

Minnowmentor will be a central account for mentoring, so I can keep my own blog for my other projects.
Free Service open to all minnows
This service will cost minnows absolutely nothing. We are doing this because we genuinely want to help, and because if we create more dolphins (and hopefully whales) it will only benefit the entire community, and improve the quality of posts.
If your reputation is 50+, or you have been here for over 4 months, you are invited to join the programme too, but we ask for a Steem Donation which will be immediately powered up to provide bigger curation rewards. It will be up to the individual to decide how much they wish to donate, and there will be no minimum amount, but we would like people to value the service appropriately.
Earnings to benefit the community
100% of the Curation and Post Earnings from Minnowmentor will be shared with those who get involved for their time. This is NOT about trying to get one individual a load of earnings. It's purely to support the community. We will be asking for witnesses and whales to continue to look at us, and to be transparent about what we are doing.
50% of all earnings will be pumped into Steem Power to assist with the growth of
25% of all earnings will be shared amongst the mentors as a thank you for their involvement.
25% of all earnings will be given to those who delegate SP to help the project develop.
Real mentors (not bots) looking at our minnows posts and giving advice.
Mentors will all be vetted, and will all have a reputation of at least 50+ and SP of over 1000. They should also have registered accounts over 3 months old and have been involved in at least one area of promotion/development/marketing/support or something else connected with growing Steemit.
A powerful learning environment
There's a lot to learn when it comes to Steemit. To go from newbie to advanced with some of the cool things you can do on Steemit takes time and effort. Minnowmentor will be publishing a full course of learning material which will support minnows, especially more non-technical ones. This will cover as far as possible every aspect of the Steemit community, including some of the more advanced stuff.

We all know minnows are perfectly capable of producing great quality content.
Investment opportunity for supporters
This project will be really successful if we have supporters. This means we need great mentors to help curate and provide feedback on our minnows.

How it will work - basic guide
Every few days (when there are mentors available)
Minnows will make a request in the comments using the tag mentorme
Once the minnow slots are filled for the next few days, the minnows will be assigned to their mentors.
The mentors will then look at multiple aspects of the minnows feeds, with the intention of providing the very best feedback possible to help the minnows grow.

So, no man is an island, and I will need help with this. As I'm already involved with the promo-uk team, there may well be some natural support from this group of exceptional Steemers.
