Welcome to Steem-It. Our posts share the same Birth Day (today!). I worked in Suzhou China on and off for about a year in the late 80's. I think it's easy to take our access to Social Media and other internet pursuits for granted - and to walk a mile in your shoes would be eye opening indeed.
