Hi, my name is Emile. I would describe myself as bipolar. Not as a disorder, my personality just has two sides. Lets start with my analytical side. Sometimes it is necessary to view the world just as a computer. Trying to analyse a situation just as Spock from Star Trek would.
Not unlike a computer my software is programmed. I have my prejudices which are programmed by culture, upbringing and schooling. When I’m on automatic pilot I use heuristics (from psychology: rules of thumb). This isn’t always bad – but it’s better not to overdo it. I try to be aware of them once in a while.
However I’m more of a holistic thinker. You know; the whole is more than the parts, a big picture kind of guy. I apply this to diverse aspects ranging from economy to spirituality. I label myself as an anarcho-capitalist from an economic point of view. On the other hand I understand that spirituality is the foundation of everything. Everything is connected. So I try to connect different subjects.
In the posts I will share my insights, regarding spirituality, economy, cryptocurrency, physical health, psychology etc.
I have a background in psychology. You should not take me too serious on that account. Personally my view is that you will learn a lot of facts (although some of them aren’t always true) in formal education, but there is no requirement to connect the dots. So no true knowledge is learned.
I’m looking forward to post on Steemit, because I have the feeling that unconventional knowledge is appreciated here. And I can learn a lot of unconventional knowledge. And honestly, the only knowledge worth coming out of bed for.
