My name is Adeshina Oyeleke and I am now making my initial step in a community that I trust to be of great importance to me both in the short and in the long run. I am a native of Kogi State, Nigeria, a place whose culture and spirit have in some manner or other, moulded my character more than I can ever describe it.
I graduated with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering in Kwara State University, a course that taught me not only how to design structures, but how to think, solve problems systematically and to always pose a question how this can be improved.
However, should you ask those nearest to me to define me, they are not likely to mention engineering first.
They would tell you about a person who is nearly never out of book, who forgets to count the hours in the midst of the research, who is actually excited when one idea clashes with another. Reading, writing, exploring, and investigating the fast-paced world of Artificial Intelligence that is quickly changing, that is what actually makes me spend my mind.
It was a place I arrived at Hive seeking something that most platforms simply lack in humility, which is the existence of knowledge of dignity and of the people that contribute it, being valued in any real way. Hive is a refreshing change in a digital environment that is full of clamor.
It operates using the values of decentralization and ownership i.e. what you write here is yours, permanently stored on a blockchain and cannot be censored or deleted by any one central place.
That is not nothing to someone who believes in the liberty and the free and open flow of ideas. That is everything. The simple truth I am going to bring to this community is honest well-researched and thoughtful content. Artificial Intelligence is one of my key areas of interest, and I intend to publish on it regularly covering the trends, tools, breakthroughs, and discussion around the field.
I would like to simplify complicated concepts, create the type of posts that would make a reader feel that he/she really learned something. In addition to AI, I will be posting knowledge that transcends technology and innovation and the bigger questions that are characteristic of our age.
All of my publications will be thoughtful, as I do not view myself as contributing to the noise. I simply want to make additions to the signal. To each and every one of you who are reading this, thank you so much in entering your world. I am looking forward to the discussions, relationships, and thoughts we are going to create. This is only the beginning.
