My name is Dan Macmullin, born in Hamilton Ontario but my family is from Cape Breton Nova Scotia. I am the youngest child in the family of nine children and I think I’m the only sane one of the bunch. I started life basically as intellectual however moved after some disillusionment into the trades. I honed my skills in carpentry becoming a timber framer and felt myself drawn to the mid-evil (medieval) arts .
I have been a professional magician on the side, for many many years almost 3 decades, and have greatly enjoyed using my talents to entertain families all over Canada. My wife and I started a Medieval club got them going and started another medieval club focused on teaching all the things we’ve learned over the 12 years of reenactment. This eventually led to us wanting to go off grid. We are currently building on a quarter section of land a Medieval village, off grid self sustainable homestead.
