Hi,
I’m Marin and I’m new to social media. I’m a creative person and my mind goes in a thousand directions at once, so please be kind if I’m scattered.
I love bright colors and loud music—but only during the day and mostly at work or in the mall.
I’m a substitute teacher for a large urban school board—I’d like to be more specific, but I can’t.
I’m just getting past an abusive relationship and I’m still a little tender and wary.
I have a girl cat—a long hair ginger calico named Sam—Okay, her real name is Samantha. I can disclose that much… ha ha.
Sometimes I feel I live in a dream or that I’ve somehow stepped off the pages of a book—not that my life is exciting—it’s not, but I always seem to be in the middle of other peoples’ drama.
Left to myself, and that’s what I prefer at the moment, I’m fine…
Subject to change.
I like taking photographs—they’re really bad, but they’re mine—and I like writing down what is real.
Don’t go thinking I’m some mystery woman or some glamorous ex-model—I’m not. I’m basically the girl next door.
I like reading and frequenting coffee shops—where I live the coffee comes in red cups and if you roll up the rim you might win a big prize—like an SUV or something.
I never win anything but I love dreaming—and if I won what would I do with a big SUV anyway? Possessions are just stuff—something to give to the Salvation Army.
My aim on being on this site is to blog about me, and my life. I sometimes (mostly) have to fictionalize it, because I’m so pursued by crazies—no, seriously, just one Crazy—and I don’t want to pack heat (we don’t do that where I live—we’re much too polite) and besides, I love security cams and alarms LOL!!
Okay, I’m getting crazy myself, so I’ll leave it at this.
If you like me, follow me—if you don’t…well, I’ll be sad…I’ll be like a takeout coffee, you know?
…straight black.
Take it and go
