Hey there you amazing Steemians!
So, my name is Lipsa. I have a very varied skillset:
I am an avid reader; basically, I read anything and everything I can lay my hands on (sometimes, when I am bored, I read even the back of a toothpaste tube :P) I believe that you can learn something new from anyone and every situation and this platform basically pushes us to learn.
I am tech-oriented – the idea that a single line of code can be so powerful; it can do what would have otherwise taken humans days to solve is what drew me to computer science and of course the collaborative aspect of it where a lot of people work towards the solution of the same problem. Well, this entire platform is based on the concept of digital currency and community so I rest my case. I am currently learning to make apps and I am very interested in the Steemit paper wallet app.
I am a complete animal lover by heart and try my best to help them in any little way I can. I have a couple of Instagram accounts which have over 200K followers where I try to support good causes and post curated content daily for fellow animal lovers.
Swimming was a passion of mine, but I was involved in an accident which has affected my spine (fracture of one vertebrae). Thankfully, it did not affect anything else, especially since I was so close to being physically disabled. Even then, right now, I am still trying my best to get back to normal – doing exercises, walking, travelling and hopefully should have enough flexibility to get back to swimming by the next year.
I had recently gone to Malaysia before another operation (where they had taken out the screws and rods inside my body) and here are some photographs of that amazing trip. There are tons more - we must have clicked over a 1000 pictures!
This is a view from the Skybridge, Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I know I am totally blocking the view!
Actual real life shark on the top of our heads. It was so exciting:
Jelly fish!!
Stuck between the books! (Hope you now believe the avid reader thing). Jokes apart - this was the upside down art gallery at port dickson, malaysia.
To be honest, I haven’t written anything in so long between my operation and college and this platform seems to be an ideal way to expressing myself – even though it can be a little disconcerting to get back to it in the beginning.
I’ve been here for a week now with my friend , just taking in everything - continually marvelling at the talented people on this platform and the actual concept of the site. I hope to contribute and learn. See you guys around! :)
