My name is Kelvin Osamudiamen Omere (just call me Kelvin), and I am happy to become a Steemian. While growing up in my native country Nigeria, I had lots of dream on how I was going to live my life as an adult. However, as I grew older, I realized that dreams are easy to create but achieving them is the real issue of life.
At age 25, I realized that I was still a long way financially from becoming the man I had dreamed of as a child. I became rather desperate and began to read everything I could lay my hands on to gain wisdom on how I can achieve financial freedom.
My quest led me to read some great books like the Richest man in Babylon by George Samuel Clason, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles and other lots of books too numerous to remember. My perception of life got transformed with the knowledge I got from these books and my finances and my wellbeing began to improve significantly.
That was the beginning of my journey into financial intelligence.
My hobbies include blogging, writing short fiction stories, play Chess and watching soccer (big fan of Chelsea FC).
I am a contributor blogger to Thrive Global, Fuse Financial Partners, Self Growth, Parent.com, Business Zone and a lot of other blogs. I also run a blog at Kelvinomere.com.
Last year, 2017, I relocated with my family to Canada in a further quest for a better life and better opportunities. My experience in Canada, though very rewarding has had its challenges. Here, I discovered that the economy, culture, and financial system is very different from Nigeria.
I have been taking a lot of classes to improve my knowledge of how money works here and has even registered with a financial group and enrolled in a course that will make me a certified financial adviser at the successful completion.

Once again, I am so happy to become a part of this great community and I wish a better financial life for us all!
