Hi everyone, my name is Lucian, I am 31 years old and I live in Romania. I am a chess trainer and I like what I do very much.
A friend of mine told me about Steemit and it seemed interesting and here I am, enjoying this amazing comunity.
I am happy to start my journey here and to know more people. I also like sports, I started to go to gym again and I feel much better now. I like going out in nature to spend time refreshing myself. Also, I am a devoted Christian and I am very serious about my faith, that's why I thought to share my toughts about what I believe here on steemit aswell.
Maybe you ask yourself why am I such a devoted christian? I used to be an unbeliever for 6 years, and I started to search the truth in many parts like: Yoga, Budism, New Age, Ocultism, sorcery and others but I never founded there. I always felt empty inside untill I saw a documentary on youtube about some guys who experienced what is called clinical death. After seeing that documentary I felt a strange feeling that I should aproach God. And I said to myself, what can I lose. So I started talking to a friend and He said to me to read the bible and when I started reading it I felt like it spoke to me. But the most interesting thing that happened was that after I accepted to give God a try, in my heart was such a strong conviction that I am on the right path again and inside I felt so good. But the most amazing thing that I found in bible was about a dad, who had the courage to give His only Son to die for us, so that we could be reconciled with Him. That ravished my heart, that God could do that for us only to have us with Him. What is so simple in christianity is that if you confess Jesus with your mouth as your Lord and repent of your sins, you will be saved. That is what I love about my faith, that it is simple and it is for everyone.
