It all started 30+ years ago in a small country on planet Earth. I grew up in a society where you are judged by what you achieve. Success entailed being always in the spotlight and reaching the top. This took me as far as pursuing an academic career. However, after obtaining a PhD in medicine, I realized that this was not the life I pursued.

I worked five days a week, but started looking at other possibilities. It was during a day off, when I wandered in nature, that I realized life can also be fun.

I quit the rat race and basically started a new life. It felt as if I was reborn. Family and friends do not understand why, but I know. Since the day I was ‘reborn’, I learned to value the importance of life. Now, I only do what I enjoy the most. By far the smartest thing I have ever done.

I have a plethora of interests, like: traveling, hiking, photography, writing, cryptocurrency and much more. Probably too much to share them all. I will use Steemit to write about my interests. I will write about a variety of topics, including me traveling around the world, informative post about cryptocurrencies, but in general I will write (short) stories. Fiction and non-fiction.
