My name is Aizad Emir.
For the past few years, I've been searching for a platform where I could share and expose my passion for making music and making artworks.
Last night I attended a meeting. A meeting where I got to know more about Steemit. Before this meeting, I was introduced to Steemit before by my music lecturer, but I never got to it till last night.
What I have discovered from last night's meeting was that with this new social media platform, It is very different from other social media apps. I mean i get hundreds of likes and thumbs up and that's it. But with Steemit everyone who is on Steemit can gain benefits from their followers upvote and the followers will gain something in return when they upvote. It is a win win situation for both sides. In my understanding about this, Steemit is a community where we help each other out. A community where we help each other to grow, to achieve our goals and to live our passion.
I am still new to this and i still have alot to learn, and in this community that I am in, we all learn from each other and we support each other. Like what Bob Marley said, One Love, One Heart, Let's get together and feel alright.
