Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here in Steemit. I'm very glad I will have a chance to share my thoughts and contribute my skills. Interacting with other people looks exciting too. I'm sure I'm gonna love this community.
It's my pleasure to introduce myself. I'm Al Kevin N. De Borja, 24 years old, from Philippines. I finished a degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I have four beautiful siblings and I am the eldest among us. One of my sister is a nurse and the other three are still studying. My mother is a house wife and my father is a retired soldier. I also wanted to be a soldier before. In fact, I tried to enroll in Philippine Military Academy (PMA) but unfortunately my height didn't reached the height requirement.
I have a passion for music. I am a marching band member since my childhood days. My instrument is clarinet, like Squidward's in the cartoon "Spongebob Squarepants". As I remember, I was with one of my close friend before and we were going to his uncle's house. I had no idea that time that his uncle is going to teach him how to read notes and play instruments. So from that day, I also started to learn. Until now, my friends and I are still in the band. We are performing during festivals in different places. My love for music will always be in my heart.
The picture above shows the different sketches I did. I often spend my spare time doing these portraits. I'm not just enjoying this talent of mine, but it also became my source of income when I was in college and even until now. I am so blessed, I have this talent.
I do love sports. I can consider myself as a sporty type of guy. I am a varsity player since elementary until I reached college. I play different sports like table tennis, sepak takraw, and basketball. I had 5 major injuries before because of these sports and luckily I always recover Hahaha. Despite of that, I will still be playing specially basketball. Well, it is my way to exercise my body. Being sporty plays a big role in my life by having good friends.
The girl beside me is my girlfriend. She is Cinderella. We are in a relationship for 3 years and many more years to come. We were studying in the same university when I met her. She's perfectly imperfect. I love her just the way she is. Her simplicity makes her more beautiful. And most importantly, she has a good heart. I am very proud of my princess, my Cinderella.
