Hey there!👋
If you have stumbled across this corner of Hive, you've just discovered the official blog. A blog that will be used as a written side of the Youtube channel with the same name.
For a very long time I wanted to start a Youtube channel but couldn't find the right niche, I stumbled on channel uploading 5-10 short videos for different tutorials, the guy was getting around 30M views a month. Amazing numbers! So here I am trying to go for the same things but I will have a Video part and a Blog part.
My idea is to drive people from my Blog posts to my Youtube videos and the other way around, people watching Youtube videos might join here and get my numbers up on the blockchain. I also understand that now with the communities and hashtags Hive is pretty SEO friendly and while people search up different tutorials my posts might show up on searches.
My main plan is to look for tutorials on things that are rarely explained, newer tools/platforms and things that I find in my daily work.
I always loved the tutorials where you didn't have to watch a 5 minute story before getting to the point of the video, and that's what I will try to achieve here too.
The tutorials will be as short as possible, on point, with images and GIFs where needed.
My story with Hive:
I used Steemit many years ago until the Hive's fork when I gave up thinking both blockchains will fail, there was so much uncertainty, people downvoting left and right, arguing and fighting over who is right and who is wrong, didn't expect anything to recover from that stand. I tried looking for my old account but can't remember where I saved it, it probably has the file name as my profile name but I can't remember that either. In the end I might have to create a personal account but this would remain my main focus.

Now while looking for platform for my blog I came back and checked both blockchains, Hive was an easy pick, judging by the front page's posts most of the users migrated here I guess. I saw there's a trend to delegate to certain bots and receive a daily vote no matter what you post, the Trending/Hot page is full of random posts.
In the end of this post, I would also like to ask a question, are there any known exchanges where I can buy Hive without KYC? I want to swipe the card and get my Hive. Currently waiting for the Binance's KYC to get some, but it says it can take up to 72 working hours, and it's weekend...
I remember using long time ago to buy Steem, but now when I press Buy on Hive wallet it takes me here: https://blocktrades.us/?input_coin_type=eth&output_coin_type=hive&receive_address= and it doesn't work anymore.
I’m grateful you spent a few minutes with me here. Thank you! If you want to stay up to date and see how this evolves please follow, I'll come with updates asap!
