Strolling through the vast plains of Internet, I discovered a lot of social networks and communities, but this one seems to be the most promising for what I'm actually aiming to achieve.
I'm Artemix, publicly known as Ivan, and I'm a France-based developer who loves learning pretty much everything, but, nowadays, I'm mainly focusing on back-end development and writing.
I'm joining this community in the hopes to be able to have a closer and more dynamic interaction with my readers, and to have a platform on which I'll also be able to discover new content around food, music and drawing !
Still, writing about me is always the hardest part... Anyways, we'll try our best to achieve that.
I'm currently 19 years old (at publication time) and am a back-end developer @ Bigsool, while studying in second-year "DUT Informatique".
I started IT early in my life, I first handled a computer around the age of 8, and quickly got bored of "basic usage". I wanted to tweak it. So I gained my first interest towards software development around the same age.
But software development is tough, especially when you're still discovering, at a stage at which you pretty much understand nothing !
I then quickly switched to web development, starting with the basics, such as HTML or CSS, while continuing to discover C.
The next years went by as I pretty much went everywhere, discovering every bit of technology and domain I could reach, but after some time, I slowly started to focus on back-end and server development, which became my main domain of interest.
I almost show no activity at all on social networks, both for privacy concerns and because I just don't care at all about such tools.
Still, I have a twitter account that I sometimes feed with random stuff and chats, but that's pretty much it.
My biggest activity is on Gitlab, the platform I chose to host my repositories, and my own personal blog, on which I write about every topic I'd like !
Apart from development, my main hobbies are composed of cooking, which I really find relaxing, when I want to find myself out of the "IT world", music, mainly guitar but I'm coming back to piano, which I played for many years when I was younger, and gaming.
I have some other "minor" hobbies, including drawing (I'll include one of my drawings at the end of this presentation), electronics, writing, sewing, and enjoying a good nap from time to time.
The following lists are lists of my favourite things, sorted by categories.
