I've always wanted a place where I could just... exist and be seen by a community. I don't know if this is it yet, but I'm here already. That should count as something... I guess.
My name is Oluwasola Ayomide David, From Nigeria, precisely Kwara state. But I was born and raised in Abuja where I've lived most of my life.
Presently, I'm in my early 20s, figuring and building my life. Working towards and hoping for a great future.
A little background on me.
I'm a firstborn... (hope I've got some first borns in the house 🤭.)... and like every first born knows, it's a hectic load of responsibilities, but I manage somehow.
My family... God, I really love them.
From my Dad, mum and two siblings, I'm really grateful for
having them. We're Christians and believe in Jesus christ and his teachings. Also try to live a godly life and live right.
What I love to do.
Alot. I love to do alot of things.
Though presently I'm still facing my education, which details I'll spare for now, but I really have so many interest.
Firstly, I deeply love writing. Not just writing... I mean the kind that involves pouring your heart, soul and mind to it. I love expressing myself through words.
Over the years I've tried to build an audience on other social media platforms like Facebook which didn't work out well due to inconsistency which was cause I had phone issues at the time.
But right now, I'm building something... On Facebook. I share wonderful and mind blowing stories, the kind that makes your imaginations run wild. So if you are a lover of such... Please check out my profile... Link is on my Ecency profile.
Asides writing... I also love developing websites. Though it's a recent affection, but I've grown to love it.
Working with html, Javascript and Css to Design front ends.
Also, I'm currently working a project, Taskpay-rewards.
A platform where people can pay and create any kinds of tasks and other users complete them to get paid.
I'll share more details once I've completed.
Other little things I also spend my time on include script writing, Ai video generation and other minor things that count as hobbies.
Speaking on Hobbies...
I love to cook. Really.
Not trying to sound boastful but, I'm a really good cook... And I'm always eager to learn new dishes.
My favorite food, doesn't exist... I don't have one. Any food goes. Though sometimes in order of preferance.
I also love reading books. Novels mostly. Then educational motivational or academic literature. Anything that helps me develop my writing skills
.
And lastly, I'd say, I love mobile games.
Shhh, don't tell my mum 🤭😂
But seriously, I love them alot.
From Free Fire, to Call of Duty, to Dream league. That's my world. So I hope I meet some gamers here too.
Quick fact... I actually started with Free fire... Really loved it and was very good at it... Then I went into Call of Duty... Became wonderful at it... Especially as a sniper. But thennn, I tried playing Free Fire again and now I suck at it. I'm still working on getting back my skills.
Guess it's true that they say, the moment you leave Free Fire for CODM, you can't return back the same.
Enough details about me... Let's talk about why I joined Hive.
I think I'd start with how I even got to know about hive.
Truth is, I actually met a friend who told me about an earning platform called Steemit.
So i had first joined Steemit more than a month ago.
Then I started doing some research, even on my exchange wallet I had seen other tokens asides STEEM. Such as, DOGE, RIPPLE and HIVE. So I researched on all 3 and then I started trying to join Hive.
I must say, it took a lot of efforts before I could eventually create an account. I was so frustrated, I had tried signing up a free account, didn't work.
Tried using InLeo, didn't work. Tried even making a payment for the anonymous account, about $0.4. But I didn't get any exchange that could transfer that low.
Almost gave up, then I installed the Ecency mobile app, tried to signup, and I saw I could pay for premium account directly from Google pay. I was so excited.... After all this while.
And well, here am I.
And my reason of joining Ecency.
Number one... No lies. To make money. 🤭
Hopefully I could earn better than I did on Steemit.
Secondly, to connect better with a wider audience and community. Something I noticed that Steemit kinda lacks. (No shades to Steemit please 😌.)
Thirdly, I want to be able to share with you all, some my writing. Either a story, or crypto related or just anything about my experiences which I really hope would connect with everyone and build a wider audience both here and even on other social media platforms.
So that gives an idea of what I plan to post. Fiction and real-life stories, crypto related talks, Nigerian lifestyle or just what ever I love to share.
Well I guess that's about it.
I don't really have a grand plan for all these yet... I just want to write and connect and see where it goes.
