Ogundeji Ayomide is a civic leader by training and a public health nutritionist by profession. Ayomide is passionate about the Girl-Child rights,fight against malnutrition and volunteers (Team-Lead) for Hearts Connect Initiative (HCI) in Lagos,Nigeria in areas of advocacy and education on gender- based violence at schools. His past projects include a community campaign initative,'FeedAChildToday' to support school feeding as a tool for fighting malnutrition and enhance learning abilities for children at schools for sustainable development.
He is currently the Program officer:Nutrition, Food security and livelihood at Food basket foundation international,an indigenous nutrition based non-profit organization in Nigeria where he helped design programs and implement to improve maternal and child health in South West Nigeria.
Ayomide has a proven leadership track record and was recently selected as an Obama's Young African Emerging leader for the Regional leadership Centre, West Africa and currently a nominee for the 120 under 40 family planning Leaders organized by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Through these experiences, He developed strong civic leadership and project management skills.
Ayomide loves to meet people and has taken interest in helping networks to develop a non profit brand with his almost two years experience.
