Hello everyone,
I say it with relief that I finally graduated medical school and will be starting residency soon. I am the first physician in my Indian family (I know) and definitely won't be the last :)
In my short span of medicine I have seen my fair share of joys, sorrows, regrets sometimes and all I can say is I hope I am there for my patients and give them my 100% during these emotional moments in their medical life. I also plan to be a cardiologist one day (only 12% of females chose cardiology even though 50% of medical school is filled with females)
During my fourth year of medical school , my boyfriend and I started traveling. We went snowboarding in the carolinas, San Francisco, Houston, Iceland, Ireland, Vegas, Utah, and Arizona (thank you student loans) and I have realized how every moment in life can be interesting if you chose to make it so. Here is one of my favorite pictures during these traveling times. Beautiful Cliffs of Moher in Ireland :)
