Hello all!

First, I believe introductions are in order: My name is Pablo Azcurra Arndt, I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. That is south America. Big chunk of earth to the left in most western hemisphere world maps, south part. I learned of Steemit through the @KeiserReport. Big fan, cheers and love to Max and Stacy!

I hope to use Steemit to get into the habit of writing. I like writing but never get down to doing it. I am not expecting to write incredible big pieces, I just want to be able to write more often. With the way steemit works, I figured the potential for an incentive might be helpful for getting into the habit. I am also very excited about the idea of somebody reading something I wrote and commenting with a sincere expectation of having myself answer them; or commenting on a post and getting answered.

So I was following Hive account@teamsteem example, trying at least, and here are a few pointers on myself

General

• 28 years old
• Argentinian
• Fluent in spanish and english, can speak some words in japanese and german. And can say "I don't understand russian" in russian... I think. Can not really be sure, as I said, my russian is almost non existent.
• In a few weeks classes start, I am going for a degree in international relationships.

Interests

Love video-games and reading. Hoping to write about that mainly.
Enjoy reading about technology. The present and future of cryptocurrencies , blockchain and particularly of bitcoin. News of the world in a broad sense.
Really like cigars and booze, the quality ones.

Books I love:

• The art of war
• The prince
• Tecnica de un golpe de estado (Something like "technique for a coup d'etat" )
• The grey eminence
• Zizek, all of it
• Death series in the Discworld, haven't read anything else of the Discworld but I'm betting is good too.
• Larteguy's books, mainly "la guerre nue"

Video-games

I play everything, well not so much lately but yeah, everything.

• Love the Front Mission series. Absolutely addicted to it, play Front mission 3 one or two times a year. Don't even know why at this point.
• Have you played Faster Than Light? It's like heroin.
• Floor 13. Game has ages. The guy who made it is bringing it back. Slowly but surely, it seems. Yay.
• Metal Slug is one of the most beautiful things an arcade gave me. GF made me a t-shirt with the tank an all!
